The SEMA Show is the main trade show dedicated to special products for the automotive aftermarket with over 161,000 visitors from all over the world.
In the automotive industry, a wide variety of metal tubing is used to make all the main components in each vehicle. Fuel lines, power steering systems, brake lines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, chassis parts, and exhaust systems - just to start with - are all made with tubes in various sizes and types of material in addition to extra-long tubes with rubber hoses connected. That’s why Crippa is the technological partner for integrated work systems dedicated to the automotive industry.
This year we’ll be at the SEMA Show with the 955LE, the CNC tube bending machine for tubes up to 2.17’’ in diameter with a length of 176”, which can be extended using hitch feeding. Multistack and multiradius, this machine can bend small radii and its bending direction is manually reconfigurable between left- and right-hand orientation. The 955LE is able to use multiple tools with different radii and clamps simultaneously. Its 9 controlled axes are driven by servomotors with absolute digital encoders and controlled by a Siemens 840D sl CNC. The operator interface and programming is very flexible and intuitive, thanks to its 3D graphics software UII “User ISO Interface” and a 19” LCD touch screen. Full-cycle simulation is included and there is the ability to import coordinates directly from solid models of tubes. The 955LE is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
Come and visit us at the SEMA SHOW in Las Vegas from 5th to 8th November at booth # 31255, you will discover that Crippa has the solution that you did not expect for your business.
