Precision Cuts Where Needed

One interesting option on this tube bending machine is the CNC cutting system that can perform excellent quality electric double blade cutting operations during the cycle.

The downsized 130HE from the Heavy series can bend mild steel tubes up to 130 mm in diameter. Like other tube bending machines in the Heavy series, the 130HE stands out for its rigidity and precision, which allow it to reach a superior level of performance compared to other machines of a similar size. The bending head is fixed to the base and guarantees that the machine has maximum rigidity during heavy processes. The tube makes the vertical and horizontal translation movements. The high excursion of the vertical axis allows the machine to hold several levels of tools or to interface existing tools. The compact dimensions of the bending head make the 130HE able to process complex tube geometries that normally require the use of machines with double bending directions in a single cycle. The nine axes that govern the movements of the machine are driven by absolute digital motors with Full Electric technology controlled by a CNC Siemens 840D. The use of this technology combined with dual axes guarantees high quality, productivity and energy savings with reduced set-up/start up time and minimal scrap. This machine also has the “Tangent Boost” device that allows it to push axially on the tube during bending, also in the slide/wiper-die area, which optimises tube development and reduces scrap. One of the options available is a CNC cutting system. The high production rate, ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio even lower than 0.8 or variable radius thrust bending make this machine particularly suitable for use in sectors where heavy processes done with high levels of precision are prime requirements. The 130HE, like the other machines in the Heavy series, uses a three-dimensional graphics software for simulations, programming and optimising the bending process: the operator has access to the UII (User Iso Interface) through the 19” LCD touch screen display. This machine is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
