The 916LE is a CNC tube bending machine in the Linear series for tubes up to 16 millimetres in diameter, with a direct transmission bending head (a technology that guarantees rigidity and efficiency). Its very small size makes it possible for a single work cycle to produce tube geometries for which a double bending direction is normally required. Multistack and multiradius (can be integrated with accessory for variable radius thrust bending), the 916LE can be reconfigured by the operator changing the bending direction from right to left, or vice versa, simply and quickly.
Like the other machines in the Linear series, the 916LE can also be fitted with a number of tools simultaneously, with different radii and clamping. The pre-existing tools can be interchanged easily thanks to the high vertical excursion of the machine.
The 916LE can also be used with a vast range of accessories for specific processes and details depending on the quality of the material and geometry of the tube to be bent.
The dynamic plane positioner limits damage to the machine if components should accidentally collide.
The linear parts run on recirculating guides, a technology that does not require lubrication, and ensures less wear compared to traditional guides.
Like the other tube bending machines in the Linear series, the 916LE also has 9 controlled axes that govern the movements of the machine and are driven by absolute digital electric motors with Full Electric technology and controlled by a CNC Siemens 840D sl.
The machine offers a high production speed and can produce bends with a CLR/DIA ratio even less than 0.8.
Using the UII “User Iso Interface” three-dimensional graphical software on the 19” LCD Touch screen, the operator can interact with the machine intuitively. The UII software also facilitates programming and makes it possible to simulate and optimise the bending programs.
This machine is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
