The 942LE CNC tube bending machine is the solution from Crippa for linear tube bending up to a diameter of 42 millimetres; it belongs to the Linear series with which it shares all the main features.
The frame has a standard length of 4450mm and the stroke of the machine can be extended with or without recovery cycle.
The steel bending head with chain driven transmission provides more space under the head of the machine, a feature which together with its extremely small size allows the machine to bend tubes with complex geometries in a single cycle. The direction of bending can be reconfigured manually by the operator simply and quickly so that set-up and start-up can be done quickly.
The 942LE is a compact machine and its vertical stroke makes it possible to fit different tools with different radii and clamping. Its versatile design also makes it possible to fit the already existing tools.
In addition, the 942LE can be prepared to be equipped with busbar profile tooling to perform in-cycle plate and edge bending and twisting processes.The horizontal dynamics of the plane positioner fitted also on this model limit damage to the machine to a minimum in the event of components colliding.The axes move on recirculating baIl guides that ensure less wear and greater reliability compared to traditional solutions.
The 942 LE is also governed by 9 controlled axes driven by absolute digital electric motors with Full Electric technology and controlled by a CNC Siemens 840D sl.
The machine offers a high production rate and can produce bends with a CLR/DIA ratio even less than 0.8.
Using the three-dimensional UII (User Iso Interface) programming software on a 19” LCD touch screen, the operator can interact intuitively and easily with the machine to simulate and optimise programs for the production of the pieces.
The 942LE is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
