The 963LE is a CNC tube bending machine in the Linear series for tubes up to 63 millimetres in diameter with completely automatic work cycle.
The frame of this tube bending machine has a standard length of 5600mm but the stroke can be extended with or without recovery cycle.
The 963LE is a particularly advanced model because it has pneumatic balancing that improves energy saving and increases its performance.
The extremely small steel bending head with chain driven transmission provides more space under the head of the machine allowing the machine to bend tubes with complex geometries in a single cycle.
The direction of bending can in any case be reconfigured manually by the operator rapidly and intuitively so that set-up and start-up can be done quickly.
Like the other tube bending machines in the Linear series, the 963LE also can be fitted with a number of tools simultaneously with different radii and clamping. Its versatile design also makes it possible to fit the already existing tools. The 963LE can be used with a vast range of accessories, such as the Tangent Boost device which pushes the tube axially during bending also in the area of the slide and counterslide, speeds up processes and reduces scrap.
The high production rate, ability to produce bends with a CLR/DIA ratio even lower than 0.8 or thrust bends with variable radius make this machine suitable for use in sectors where efficiency and productivity are prime requirements.
The 9 controlled axes that govern the machine are driven by absolute digital electric motors with Full Electric technology and controlled by a CNC Siemens 840D sl. The 963LE also has a three-dimensional graphical software on a 19” LCD touch screen from which the operator can interact intuitively with the machine and simulate and optimise the tube bending programs. This machine is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
