The SMALL1R is a CNC tube bending machine with a reversed layout that facilitates the unloading phases. Its reduced size allows it to be easily inserted into production lines with little available space and into new and existing integrated work cells. Like other machines from the Small series, SMALL1R is a tube bending machine with a completely automatic work cycle for aluminium tubes up to 20mm in diameter. It can use different tools with different radii and clamping at the same time, just like the SMALL1. The SMALL1R can be reconfigured manually - right bending direction instead of left - depending on the production requirements. The machine is governed by a CNC Siemens 840D sl, which manages the five axes controlled by digital motors with Full Electric technology, while the clamps are electro-pneumatic. The use of this technology ensures quality, energy savings and minimal scrap. All these features combined with extremely reduced set-up/start up times. The efficiency of the machine is guaranteed by the dynamics of the plane positioner which limits damage in case of accidental collision of the components. Like other Small series tube bending machines, SMALL1R also features high production speeds and the possibility to be implemented with a broad array of accessories for specific and unusual jobs. The ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio even lower than 0.8 make this machine particularly suitable for use in production sectors that require maximum production rates and repeatability. This tube bending machine has three-dimensional graphics software on a 19” LCD Touch screen, from which the operator can interact intuitively with the machine. The UII “User Iso Interface” facilitates programming and allows the operator to simulate and optimise bending programs. The SMALL1R is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
