The PL35X6 SP DIGIT is an END FORMING MACHINE with ‘full electric’ technology. It is extremely modular, and can work in line with other SMI machines and be easily integrated in automated work cells, but may also be used autonomously with manual or automated loading/unloading systems. With the electric thrust axis, power, and adjustable stroke, the thrust tools may be used for progressive cold forming of various complexities. It is also possible to create hot deformations (expansion, reduction, hemispherical closures) with the rotating tool. Both the rotation of the revolver that installs the thrust tools and the movement to exchange the revolver and rotating tool are governed by electric motors. A touchscreen panel allows for management of work recipes through simplified programming. The PL DIGIT is prepared for integration into smart factory systems.
