BASIC 42.1| BASIC 42.2| BASIC 100.1

Simple, cost effective, Crippa.

Crippa quality in a new versatile and economical tube bender

The machines in the BASIC line consist of numerically controlled tube bending machines with completely automatic cycles. They feature small bending heads so they can even run a single processing cycle to produce tube geometries that normally require a double bending direction, leading to notable advantages in terms of both productivity and precision. Right or left operated, with the bending direction set by the operator, both the BASIC 42.1 and BASIC 42.2 can process tubes of up to 42 mm in diameter. The BASIC 42.1 is a single stack, while the BASIC 42.22 can handle up to two tooling stacks simultaneously. Both can be configured quickly for bends of different radii, guaranteeing reduced setup times and extremely quick production changes without the need for adjustment. The BASIC 100.1, available only in the single stack version, can bend tubes up to 100 mm in diameter and is ideal for making production changes extremely quickly without the need for adjustment, even for tubes with large diameters. The high rigidity of the mechanical units, particularly the structure, means that the machines in the BASIC line achieve the utmost precision and repeatability, as well as a high production speed. The axes governing the machines — 3 for the single stack versions and 4 for the BASIC 42.2 — are moved by digital electric motors with the ‘elect motion’ technology and the CNC is managed by Siemens 840 D sl. The high production speed, the capacity for use with a vast range of accessories for specific and particular jobs, and the ability to produce thrust bends with a variable ratio make these machines particularly versatile and suitable for use in different production sectors. Each machine is equipped with three-dimensional graphical software on a 19” LCD touchscreen, through which the operator can interact intuitively with the machine. The UII ‘User Iso Interface” facilitates programming and allows the operator to simulate and optimise bending programs.
