The 980HE CNC tube bending machine is capable of bending complex tubes that in the past required multiple machines, or were not possible at all. Built for the automotive, aerospace, urban decoration, and naval sectors, it provides the following features: 

  • a patented vertical shifting mechanism that provides a very high vertical stroke for multiple tool levels, including a tube cutting level
  • higher rigidity and performance compared to other machines of this size
  • maximum frame rigidity thanks to the design using horizontal head movement
  • CNC controlled pantograph for vertical movement creates a rigid structure with long stroke
  • Standard loading height for proper ergonomics
  • 9 electric servo axes for machine movements, no hydraulics
  • Siemens 840D Solution Line CNC
  • Available Tangent Boost device which allows axial thrust on the tube inside the Pressure Die and Wiper Die Interference Zones. This feature can also be used to eject final end of tube when using the CNC cutting option
  • Two-Axis CNC tube cutting system using a nick-and-shear design for minimal tube deformation
  •  Machine is open for adding accessories to allow special functions: tube plug, knurling, punching, seam/hole finder, etc.
  • Traditional rotary draw bending, rotary draw with carriage boost (<1D), and roll bending are all supported
  • Intuitive graphic programming for easy part creation can be done using the console’s 19” touchscreen or remotely
  • Machine is specifically well-suited for integration into automated work cells for very high production volumes
