The SMALL2E is a Full Electric, multistack and multiradius tube bending machine with seven CNC axes created to process aluminium tubes up to 0.79'' in diameter with a thickness of 1.8mm and with right and left bending directions integrated into the cycle. This tube bending machine is configured with an electrical arm and the main transmission of the C axis is directly under the bending plane. The clamp blockage is done with a CNC screw transmission with recirculating balls, while the pressure die is a CNC axis with rack and pinion. The head translates with typical cross movements. The reconfiguration from right to left happens through the pressure die axis in concert with a pneumatic displacement system on two fixed positions on the clamp carriage and the slide unit. The slide position blocking system ensures the absence of collisions during the process in the unblocking phases. All main movements of the machine take place on recirculating ball bearing guides and all components have a high standard of quality to guarantee excellent overall performance and maximum availability of parts. The use of this technology ensures quality, energy savings and minimal scrap, guaranteeing extremely reduced set-up/start up times. Like other Small series tube bending machines, SMALL2E is also extremely fast and can be implemented with a broad array of accessories for every production need. The efficiency of the machine is guaranteed by the dynamics of the plane positioner which limits damage in case of accidental collision of the components. The ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio even lower than 0.8 make this machine particularly suitable for use in production sectors that require maximum production rates and repeatability. This tube bending machine also has a three-dimensional graphics software on a 19” LCD touch screen, the UII “User ISO Interface”, from which the operator can interact intuitively with the machine to program production and simulate and optimise the tube bending programs. The SMALL2E is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory systems.
